ATE Hercules Powerlifting Bar 20kg (Cerakote)
After being demanded by our valued customers for quite some time, we finally have a barbell that will help you reach your 1RMs. The ATE Hercules Barbell has a 1.5MM Volcano knurl which is aggressive, adequate stiffness, and the 29mm shaft diameter is optimal for your heaviest lifts.
The shaft is a Red Cerakote finish with an aggressive 1.5MM Volcano Knurl which feels great in the hand even with the Cerakote finish. The sleeves are Hard Chrome to protect from oxidation and wear due to loading/unloading of plates. The ATE Hercules Barbell is made from special steel alloy.

*NOTE - The ceramic coating being thicker in thickness makes the knurl less sharp and can feel as if the knurl is not aggressive. For a sharper knurl, go for the hard chrome / stainless steel power bar.

Increased Strength & FinishingCerakote is more resistant to oxidation than black oxide / hard chrome, so the ATE Hercules Barbell comes with a Cerakote shaft and Hard Chrome sleeves. The bar is 20KG, 2200mm long, with a 29mm shaft diameter, no whip, and snap ring construction. It has a 200K PSI Tensile Strength rating and a Max Load of 2000 LBS. The collar is thinner than a regular barbell to allow more weight plates to be loaded onto the sleeve.
Thin CollarsThe ATE Hercules Barbell 20kg has super thin collars. This increases the loadable sleeve length from 415mm to 433mm, letting you fit more plates for your 1RM lifts. It can fit up to 850Kg of 25Kg cast iron powerlifting plates with a thickness of 25mm, providing adequate plate-loading ability.
Aggressive Volcano KnurlingThe 1.5 mm volcano knurl is aggressive but not overly sharp, giving a comfortable, secure grip. The bar has a single International Powerlifting knurl mark with a centre knurl, giving an advantage for heavy back squats and great grip.
Self-Lubricating Bronze BushingsThe ATE Hercules Barbell has 6 Self-Lubricating Bronze Bushings (3 per sleeve) with controlled, reliable sleeve spin, ideal for powerlifting lifts such as squats, bench press and deadlifts. Bushings are made from high-quality bronze.

What is the ATE Hercules Bar?
The Hercules is a 29 mm IPF-spec powerlifting bar finished in a striking Red Cerakote shaft with hard-chrome sleeves. It's stiff (no whip), has an aggressive 1.5 mm volcano knurl with a centre knurl and thin collars for extra plate loading - built for heavy squats, bench and deadlifts and hitting new 1RMs.
How is the Hercules different from the standard and stainless steel powerlifting bars?
All three are 29 mm IPF power bars with a volcano knurl and bronze bushings. The standard bar has a hard-chrome shaft (₹20,060), the Hercules adds a premium rust-resistant Red Cerakote shaft (₹21,240), and the Stainless Steel bar is uncoated stainless throughout with the sharpest knurl feel and highest 205,000 PSI rating (₹26,960).
Does the Cerakote finish make the knurl feel less aggressive?
Slightly, yes - the ceramic Cerakote coating sits a touch thicker than bare chrome, so the knurl can feel a little less sharp. If you want the most aggressive bare-steel grip, choose the hard-chrome or stainless steel power bar; if you want a durable, rust-resistant, great-looking bar with a secure grip, the Hercules is ideal.
Why does the Hercules bar have thin collars?
The thin collars increase the loadable sleeve length from 415 mm to 433 mm, so you can fit more plates - up to about 850 kg of 25 kg cast-iron powerlifting plates - for heavy 1RM attempts.
What warranty does the ATE Hercules Bar come with?
It comes with a lifetime warranty against bending (when used with authentic ATE plates and platform), made in India with pan-India delivery and EMI at checkout.
